Objectives

The overall objective of the module is to address the issue of gender equality from a perspective centered on daily life, work, and health.


Specifically, drawing on a set of policies that impact the intersection of productive work and daily life, the module provides the theoretical and empirical tools necessary for critical analysis and for the development of proposals for action.

The sessions will combine:


a) Teaching theoretical presentations.

b) Seminars to discuss lectures, practical cases and intervention proposals.

c) Preparation of an individual task, which is discussed previously in groups in the classroom.


Note: 15 minutes of a class will be reserved within the calendar established by the center or for the degree so that the students will use the questions for the evaluation of the performance of the professor and for the evaluation of the subject or the module.

Annotation: within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

The assessment is based on the following components:


- Active individual participation and group work in the seminars (40%).


- Writing an individual essay based on the practical application of the course material (50%).


- Attendance and participation in the face-to-face sessions (10%).


Single Assessment

In accordance with the UAB Academic Regulations, a single assessment is possible and must be notified within the deadlines established by the Faculty. Specifically, the single assessment will consist of a written exam summarizing the entire course material (50% of the grade), as well as the submission of an individual essay (30% of the grade) and a practical assignment (20% of the grade) specific to the seminar topics. All of these activities must be completed and submitted on the same date, following the assessment schedule established by the Faculty.


To be recorded as "not assessable" in the official records.

Only those who have not provided sufficient evidence of assessment throughout the course will receive a "not submitted" grade: specifically, those who have not attended at least 50% of all scheduled assessment activities.


Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

In this course, the use of AI technologies is not permitted at any stage. Assignments that include AI-generated elements will be considered academic dishonesty and may result in a partial or full penalty on the assignment grade, or more severe penalties in serious cases.
