Prerequisites

Knowledge of any degree in humanities in literature, especially Catalan literature.

Objectives

At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the tools and methodologies necessary to independently develop the reading of complex literary works of classical and avant-garde tendencies.

The module combines theoretical classes, the reading and analysis of various documents on the subject and the preparation and presentation of exercises.

Annotation: within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

This module does not use the single assessment system.

When each assessment activity takes place, the lecturer will inform students (via Moodle) of the procedure and the date on which marks will be reviewed.

Students will receive a mark of ‘Not Assessed’ if they have failed to submit more than 30 per cent of the assessment activities.

Should a student commit any irregularity that could lead to a significant variation in the mark for an assessment, that assessment will be marked as 0, regardless of any disciplinary proceedings that may be initiated. Should several irregularities occur in the module’s assessments, the module's final mark will be 0.

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is not permitted at any stage of this module. Any work containing AI-generated content will be considered a breach of academic integrity and will result in the assignment being marked as 0 and deemed ineligible for a new assessment, or, in more severe cases, result in further sanctions.
