Title Weight Hours ECTS Learning outcomes
Class Attendance and Participation 10% 10 0.4 CM01, CM02, KM03, SM62
Final Exam 50% 2 0.08 CM01, CM02, KM03, SM62

Practical Activity 2 20% 7.5 0.3 CM01, CM02, KM03, SM62

CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT

Continuous assessment will consist of the following activities:

  • Practical Activity 1 (20%)
  • Practical Activity 2 (20%)
  • Attendance and Class Participation (10%)
  • Final Exam (50%)

The dates and content of the assessed activities will be published on the Virtual Campus before the beginning of the classes.

Students are encouraged to attend classes regularly and to complete the activities scheduled throughout the course (readings, legislative commentaries, case law analysis, etc.).

The Final Exam must be passed with a mark higher than 5 out of 10 in order for it to be averaged with the remaining Continuous Assessment grades.

Any irregularity committed by a student that may lead to a significant alteration of the grade obtained in an assessment activity will result in a grade of 0 for that activity, regardless of any disciplinary proceedings that may be initiated. In the event of multiple irregularities in the assessment activities of the same course, the final grade for the course will be 0.

Should the assessment activities be unable to take place in person, their format will be adapted (while maintaining the same weighting) to the possibilities offered by the UAB virtual learning environment. Assignments, activities and class participation will be carried out through forums, wikis and/or exercise discussions via Teams, etc. The lecturer will ensure that students are able to access these tools or will provide alternative means whenever possible.

Grade Review Procedure

At the time each assessment activity is carried out, the lecturer will inform students (via Moodle) of the procedure and date for reviewing grades.

Conditions for the “Not Assessed” Grade

Students will receive a grade of “Not Assessed” if they have not submitted and/or passed more than two-thirds of the assessment activities.

RESIT ASSESSMENT

A resit assessment will be offered only for the Final Exam component.

SINGLE ASSESSMENT

This option must be requested at the beginning of the course or subsequently due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Practical Activity 1 (25%)
  • Practical Activity 2 (25%)
  • Content Examination (50%)

Use of Artificial Intelligence

For this course, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is permitted exclusively for support tasks, such as bibliographic or information searches, text editing, or translations. Students must clearly identify which parts have been generated using these technologies, specify the tools used, and include a critical reflection on how they have influenced both the process and the final outcome of the activity. Lack of transparency regarding the use of AI in an assessed activity will be considered a breach of academic integrity and may result in a partial or total penalty in the activity grade, or more severe sanctions in serious cases.
