At the beginning of the course, the professor will explain the content of the different lessons and exercises.We are going to comment the most important  cases and procedures.

We encourage students to perform oral statements.

1. Assessment will be based on two exams and the submission of gradable coursework or practical documents. The professor will determine the weight of each assessment within the following ranges:

• First assessment: between forty and fifty percent (40%-50%). This exam will be oral or written and may include theoretical questions as well as questions related to the practical cases analyzed in the seminar.
• Second assessment: between forty and fifty percent (40%-50%). This exam will be oral or written and may include theoretical questions as well as questions related to the practical cases analyzed in the seminar.
• Third assessment: practical coursework or other written assessment documents, which will range between five and twenty percent (5%-20%).

2. To be eligible for the resit assessment, a minimum prior average grade of 3 points (out of 10) across all general activities is required.

3. In the event that a student cheats, commits plagiarism, or is found with any prohibited device during an assessment, the teaching staff will award a grade of 0 for that specific assessment. Furthermore, the incident will be reported to the Faculty Dean’s Office by submitting a report detailing the circumstances and evidence, in order to request the initiation of potential disciplinary proceedings against the student. This specific assessment activity cannot be retaken or recovered. If more than one irregularity occurs in the assessments of the same course, the final grade for the course will be 0 (zero).

4. The single assessment option includes an oral or written exam covering the syllabus contents (50% of the final grade), a commented practical test (25%), and a short-answer exam in either multiple-choice or oral format (25%). If the first exam is oral (50% of the grade), the response regarding the syllabus topic must be delivered within fifteen to twenty minutes. The same grading and assessment framework as the continuous assessment will apply. The guidelines approved by the Faculty of Law for this type of exam will be strictly followed.

5. Students will be eligible for assessment if they have completed a set of activities whose combined weight equals at least 2/3 of the total course grade. If the value of the completed activities does not reach this threshold, the course professor may grade the student as "Not Assessable".

6. The use of Artificial Intelligence will be subject to the criteria established by the professor in charge of each group. A lack of transparency regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence will be treated as academic dishonesty and may result in a partial or total grade penalty for the activity, or more severe sanctions in serious cases.
