The monitoring of the TFG is done through the web tfe.uab.cat

The evaluation has different parts:

1. The follow-up of the TFG by the Coordination.

2. The follow-up by the tutor who has guided the project and represents the most important part of the final grade (60%). The evaluation criteria that must be taken into account are: on the one hand, the final result of the work and, on the other, the process that the student has followed in its preparation, always with the approval of the Coordination. In this evaluation, competences related to work capacity, to the resolution of difficulties, learning in research methodology, planning, concretion of results, aptitude in writing and effectiveness towards a well-done job are valued.

3. The oral presentation: public exposure made by the student in front of two teachers. Each presentation of TFG has an expected duration of half an hour, of which 15 minutes must correspond to the oral presentation prepared by the student.

Two professors that will be chosen according to the subject of the work and the availabilities of the teaching staff will form the examining board.The professors may require identification from the student, who must prove their identity through their student card, DNI, NIE or passport.

The tutor will not be in the examining board.

The presentation will take place during the last week of June or the first week of July.

This evaluation will serve to exercise the skills related to the exposition of a subject: make it comprehensible to anyone and know how to express it in an appropriate way. The ability of the student, the suitability of the way of explaining himself, the talent in the choice of the resources he uses, the mastery of the subject, the ingenuity in the way of posing it, the sufficiency in making it affordable and the ability to convince of the importance of the work and its results.

Approximate calendar (it will be indicated in a more specific way through the application from September/October):

- October-November: tutoring to establish the objectives and structure of the project.

- December: delivery of some pages corresponding to a state of the art.

- March: second delivery.

- May: delivery of the body of work.

- 2025, June 15th: deadline for the delivery of the finished work with conclusions and with the corrections proposed by the tutor. The complete project must be delivered through tfe.uab.cat

- End of June/beginning of July: public exposition.

Assessment dates can’t be changed unless there’s an exceptional and well-justified reason. If a student has a documented chronic or acute illness, they can request to postpone the assessment, if it fits

within the academic calendar. These requests must be submitted at least seven days in advance and include the required documentation. If the reason is an unexpected situation considered force majeure, the regulations allow the request to be submitted after the scheduled date, provided the documentation is delivered within three working days. This includes situations such as the birth or adoption of a child, or the death of a partner or a close relative (up to second degree). In cases of illness or other circumstances, the documentation must clearly show that the student was not in a condition to take the assessment at the scheduled time. Teaching staff may also use their discretion to consider other circumstances not explicitly listed above.

-In the event of a student committing any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation in the grade awarded to an assessment activity, the student will be given a zero for this activity, regardless of any disciplinary process that may take place. In the event of several irregularities in assessment activities of the same subject, the student will be given a zero as the final grade for this subject.

-Students will obtain a not assessed/not submitted course grade if they don't submit the final written TFG.

-This subject allows the use of AI technologies exclusively for support tasks such as bibliographic or content-based searches, text correction or translations, where applicable. In the case of TFGs in Languages, any use of translation must be specifically authorised by the teacher. Other specific situations may be contemplated, as deemed appropriate by the teacher. The student must clearly:

(i) identify which parts have been generated using AI technology;

(ii) specify the tools used;

(iii) include a critical reflection on how these have influenced the process and final outcome of the activity.

Lack of transparency regarding the use of AI in the assessed activity will be considered academic dishonesty; the corresponding grade may be lowered, or the work may even be awarded a zero. In cases of greater infringement, more serious action may be taken.

-This subject/module incorporate nor single assesment neither reassesment.

The grade "Matrícula de Honor" cannot be achieved.

-Projects with a total grade above 9 may be made public through the UAB Digital Document Repository, provided they receive authorization from the student, tutor, and coordinator.
