Prerequisites
General knowledge about professional areas of performance on psychology.
Objectives
The main objective is the update of the professional activity on health psychology.
Students will identify the health, methodological and technical implications of the research on Health Psychology. It also analyses the professional experiences on general health psychology, highlighting contextual, ethical and multidisciplinary aspects.
Learning outcomes
- Continue the learning process, to a large extent autonomously
- Use acquired knowledge as a basis for originality in the application of ideas, often in a research context.
- Examine healthcare cases involving abuse and gender-related violence from a gender perspective (intervention, prevention, evaluation or investigation).
- Identify and critically analyse of biological and psychosocial models affecting mental health in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.
- Identify and analyse models of biological and psychosocial factors affecting mental health in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.
- Identify resources and mechanisms for treating mental health problems in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.
- Identify and analyse impact of mental health problems on the psychosocial environment in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.
- Detect the social and cultural factors determining social attributions of normality and deviation in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.

- Critically analyse and compare the different methods, instruments and evaluation strategies for addressing behavioural disorders and health-illness processes in specific areas of the general health psychologist's professional activity.

The evaluation is carried out continuously during the module's delivery. It is considered essential to attend all the seminars-workshop.
The experts in the different fields of health psychology activities will evaluate the connections acquired by the students at the end of the seminars / workshops. It has an appraisal of theoretical coneixements on the mandatory bibliography.
There are 3 seminar/workshop groups. The evaluation set may vary between groups.
EV1 (seminar / workshop 1). Face-to-face individual or group evaluation of seminar workshop 1 (variable depending on the group)
EV2 (seminari / workshop 2). Face-to-face group evaluation of seminar workshop 2 (variable depending on the group)

The evaluation has passed when all the learning evidences has been presented, obtaining a minimum average score of 5 points. The student is considered approved when the final grade of all the learning evidences is >= 4,85
The student who has submitted evidence of learning with a weight less than 4 points (<40%) will be recorded in the final note as \"not assessable\".
Retakes:
The maximum grade for students who take a retake is 6.
Evs 1 to 5: Students who do not attend the assessment indicated in their enrollment group may take a retake (week 19). The retake consists of an oral assessment of the theoretical content and mandatory readings of the EV that was not passed.
Ev 6: The individual written learning evidence (multiple choice test) that was not passed and previously submitted can be retaken. In order to access the retake test, the average grade of the group tests (Ev1-Ev5) must be equal to or greater than 3.5 points. The individual retake will consist of a closed written test with multiple choice questions.
Return of evidence of continuous learning:
EV1-5: Type of return: Oral feedback will be given in the classroom at the same time that the groups present their work.
EV6: Type of feedback: Tutoring, in the space dedicated to exam review for those who want to receive feedback, S16
Use of AI:
The use of AI in Evs is permitted as long as the final result reflects a significant contribution by the student in the analysis and personal reflection. The submitted work must identify which parts have been generated with this technology, specify the tools used and include a critical reflection on how these have influenced the final result. The lack of transparency in the use of AI will be considered a lack of academic honesty and may lead to a penalty in the grade of the activity, or greater sanctions in serious cases.

Part of the required reading bibliography is made available on the Moodle classroom at the beginning of the course.
The remaining part of the bibliography is provided by the different lecturers on the day they deliver the in-person seminar/workshop.
