This course does not provide for a single-assessment system.
Assessment will be carried out throughout the course using different instruments to gather evidence of students’ progress and achievement of the intended learning outcomes. The assessment table provides an overview of the distribution of the course assessment activities.
Attendance at face-to-face classes is mandatory. Failure to attend at least 80% of the scheduled class hours will require the student to undertake the resit assessment period, provided that the student has submitted at least two-thirds of the assessment activities and/or has achieved a minimum average grade of 3.5.
The Learning Portfolio (LP) is the main continuous assessment tool and must be submitted on 2 and 4 June. The remaining learning activities will be submitted progressively at the end of each thematic block, depending on the schedule of each group. Activities not submitted by the established deadlines may be recovered by incorporating them into the LP.
The design and implementation of a teaching intervention will be carried out and assessed during the antepenultimate and penultimate sessions of the course (during the second weeks of June) at the SAF facilities. The individual questionnaire on the learning outcomes achieved will be administered 9, 11 june. Other individual and/or group activities of a more specific nature will be carried out and assessed upon completion of the corresponding content area.
The resit assessment period will take place on 16 , 18 June 2027. The resit assessment will consist of the submission of the completed Learning Portfolio, an additional section including the design of new Physical Education lessons with a detailed description of the teaching and learning activities, following guidelines provided by the teaching staff (one lesson for each absence incurred), and a written examination.
When a student has not provided sufficient evidence for assessment (three or fewer assessment activities), the course will be graded as “Not Assessable”.
From the second enrolment onwards, assessment will consist of a comprehensive assessment task designed to evaluate the intended learning outcomes specified in this course guide. In this case, the final grade will be based on a written examination covering the course contents (60%) and the design of a teaching intervention in Physical Education (40%).
To pass this course, students must demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as a good command of the language(s) of instruction specified in the course guide. In all activities, whether individual or group-based, linguistic accuracy, writing quality and formal presentation will be taken into account. Students must be able to express themselves fluently and accurately and demonstrate a high level of comprehension of academic texts. The incorporation of a gender perspective in the Learning Portfolio will also be considered.
Copying or plagiarism in any assessment activity constitutes academic misconduct and will result in a final grade of 0 for the course, with no possibility of resit, whether the work is individual or group-based. In the latter case, all group members will receive a grade of 0.
Likewise, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is not permitted at any stage of this course. Any work containing AI-generated content will be considered a breach of academic integrity and will result in a final grade of 0 for the course, with no possibility of resit, whether the work is individual or group-based. In the latter case, all group members will receive a grade of 0.
Feedback and grades for assessment activities will be provided within a maximum period of 20 working days in accordance with the academic calendar.
