Objectives
El objetivo central de la asignatura es ofrecer una introducción al estudio de la literatura desde una perspectiva filosófica. Desde sus orígenes, la filosofía se ha planteado una serie de preguntas complejas sobre la literatura, como por ejemplo, por qué tenemos la necesidad de narrar historias o componer poemas, de qué modo puede la literatura transmitir ideas filosóficas o incluso tener una función de educadora moral, esa relación existe entre literatura y conocimiento, literatura y verdad, y el papel de la interpretación. Todas estas cuestiones, y otras, han generado discusiones que hoy en día se replantean desde enfoques innovadoras. La asignatura se centrará en debates actuales sobre la filosofía de la literatura.

Our examples: students must choose a reading that has to do with the subject's topic

La metodologia del corso prevede le seguenti attività:
LEZIONI DI LETTURA IN CLASSE
- Sessioni teoriche: in cui vengono introdotte questioni fondamentali e fornite le conoscenze di base per affrontare le letture.
- Sessioni seminariali: in cui vengono analizzate e discusse le letture che gli studenti hanno precedentemente preparato autonomamente. Ci saranno sessioni in cui gli studenti dovranno scegliere e presentare alcune opere letterarie che considerano significative in termini di dialogo tra filosofia e letteratura.
Sono previsti anche dialoghi tra autori in formato audiovisivo, che saranno trasmessi su UAB Media. Questa attività si svolgerà in modalità APS.
Queste due tipologie di sessioni si alterneranno durante il corso.
È fondamentale che gli studenti frequentino regolarmente le lezioni e partecipino attivamente alla discussione sulle letture.

The assessment consists of three tests.
The first is the philosophical analysis of an account (in class)
The second consists of the presentation of the students' personal proposals: written and oral
The third consists of the production of an audiovisual where there is a dialogue or a collection of dialogues between philosophy and literature. These audiovisuals will be presented on the UABmedia platform and in a live performance.
The student will receive the grade of "Not assessable" provided that he has not submitted more than 30% of the assessment activities.
The Department of Philosophy may establish a concentration period for assessment tests. The teacher will indicate if there is this period or what the test dates are at the beginning of each subject.
This subject does not offer a single assessment.
This subject allows the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies exclusively in tasks of bibliographic search or information search, text correction or translations.
The student must (i) identify the parts that have been generated with AI; (ii) specify the tools used; and (iii) include a critical reflection on how these have influenced the process and the final result of the activity.
The lack of transparency of the use of AI in this assessable activity will be considered a lack of academic honesty and will result in the activity being assessed with a 0 and not being able to be recovered, or major sanctions in serious cases.”
If the student commits any irregularity that could lead to a significant variation in the grade of an assessment, this assessment will be graded 0, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be initiated. If several irregularities occur in the assessment acts of the same subject, the final grade for this subject will be 0.
