The syllabus provided by the instructor will constitute the core material for the course. Reading, studying, and working on it will be absolutely necessary to achieve the course objectives. As a complement, a course-specific manual is included in the bibliography as a tool for further exploration of the content presented and discussed in class. Classes will be taught by combining theoretical explanations with exercises that will put the acquired knowledge into practice. For optimal results, theoretical explanations will be complemented with illustrative examples to ensure students achieve a clear and demonstrable understanding of the concepts studied.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

The evaluation of the subject will be carried out in two ways: Through a continuous evaluation, and for those students who request it, through a single evaluation.
- Continuous evaluation:
There will be a partial exam during the week of October 27 to 31, which will include all the syllabus explained from the beginning of the course until the week before this test.
In December, there will be another partial exam, which will include all the syllabus explained until the week of December 1 to 5.
In January there will be a final partial exam, which all students must take, with a differentiated exam depending on whether or not they have passed the partial exams of October and December. Students who have passed these two partial exams will only have to answer the syllabus corresponding to this third partial.
- Single Assessment:
If the student has requested Single Assessment, they will have to take a final exam that will include questions from the entire course syllabus, in addition to the activities determined by the professor.
For students who have not passed the subject in any of the described modalities, they will have the opportunity to take a retake exam where they can recover the entire subject, or part of it (in the event that they have passed one part and failed another). In any case, to be able to take this retake exam, it is only required to have a failing grade.
The grade for the subject will be NON-ASSEMBLYABLE when the student attends less than half of the assessment activities and/or does not attend the final exam.
