The evaluation of the course takes into account the assessment of the tutor of the centre and the individual presentation of a written report presenting, in poster format, an analysis of the pathologies and the speech therapy interventions observed as well as, if possible, the intervention carried out by the student. In addition, a student's audiovisual presentation of the work placement centre may also be assessed. In order to make the weighted sum and obtain the final mark, it is necessary to have obtained a mark of 5.0 or higher in each of the learning evidences (centre and individual report).
Each of the evidences of learning of the course will be returned in the following way: EV1 - To the moodle classroom, week 19 (1st and 2nd semester) and EV2 - To the moodle classroom, week 19 (1st and 2nd semester).
Students have to get a 5,0 or more in each aforementioned activitiy. This mark is compulsory to be able to get the final mark of the subject.
We offer the opportunity to get up to one additional mark if the student submits a video relating their experience in the centre.
This subject does not consider single assessment.
No-evaluation: Student doesn’t do a minimum of 75 hours in the centre.
Re-evaluation: students who don’t obtain a pass mark for the subject, but get a mark of 4 or more, only have the option of the re-evaluation of the poster submitted.
The material used during the work placement is the responsibility of the work placement centre and its possible recording requires its authorisation. Any action or conduct that may be in breach of ethical principles or the code of ethics may result in the internship course not being passed.
