Objectives

Identify and analyze the main risks related to fires, accidents, technological catastrophes and rescue situations, applying the basic concepts of fire theory and emergency management.

Know and interpret the public safety model of Catalonia, as well as the action protocols of the firefighting and rescue services.

Apply action and decision-making strategies in emergency situations, using command, planning and operational coordination systems.

Effectively use planning, command and control tools for the management of interventions in highly complex contexts.

Develop a critical, responsible and professional attitude towards risk situations, taking into account criteria of safety, efficiency and civil protection.

Learning outcomes

  1. Coordinate the resources of the three main subsystems of the prevention and integral security sector: people, technology and infrastructures.
  2. Use the capacity for analysis and synthesis to solve problems.
  3. Generate innovative and competitive proposals in research and in professional activity developing curiosity and creativity.
  4. Respond to problems applying knowledge to practice.
  5. Students must have and understand knowledge of an area of study built on the basis of general secondary education, and while it relies on some advanced textbooks it also includes some aspects coming from the forefront of its field of study.
  6. Students must be capable of applying their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional way and they should have building arguments and problem resolution skills within their area of study.
  7. Students must be capable of collecting and interpreting relevant data (usually within their area of study) in order to make statements that reflect social, scientific or ethical relevant issues.
  8. Students must be capable of communicating information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialised and non-specialised audiences.
  9. Students must develop the necessary learning skills to undertake further training with a high degree of autonomy.
  10. Propose new methods or well-founded alternative solutions.
  11. Critically analyse the principles, values and procedures that govern professional practice.
  12. Analyse the sex- or gender-based inequalities and the gender biases present in one's own area of knowledge.
  13. Propose projects and actions that incorporate the gender perspective.
  14. Propose viable projects and actions that promote social, economic and environmental benefits.
  15. Work and learn autonomously.
  16. Design and implement recovery plans following disasters and mechanisms for contingencies.
  17. Evaluate the technical, social and legal impact of new scientific discoveries and new technological developments.
  18. Identify the infrastructure, technology and resources necessary to respond to operations in prevention and integral security.
  19. Design a project applied to integral security and prevention in an organisation.
  20. Carry out scientific thinking and critical reasoning in matters of preventions and security.
  21. Analyse the situation and identify the points that are best.
  22. Identify the social, economic and environmental implications of the academic and professional activities in the field of self-knowledge.

The methodology that will be used will be based on lecture methodologies along with the analysis of different practical cases.


Annotation: within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

El sistema d’avaluació d’aquesta assignatura s’estructura en dos apartats clarament diferenciats:

 

1. Part pràctica:

 L´ alumnat realitzarà les diferents pràctiques que plantejarà el professorat a l'aula.

 Aquesta part pràctica tindrà un valor de 5 punts de la nota final de l'assignatura.

 La nota mitjana d'aquestes pràctiques es sumarà a la mitjana obtinguda de les proves teòriques individuals sempre que aquestes hagin estat superades en les condicions que s’especifiquen a l’apartat següent*.

 

2. Proves teòriques individuals

 

Examen escrit: 
 

L´ alumnat ha de superar les proves teòriques que estableixi el professorat. El valor de les mateixes serà de 5 punts, respecte de la nota final de l’assignatura. 

 

*L’alumne que obtingui, com a mínim, un 3,5 sobre 10 del conjunt de les proves teòriques se li podrà sumar la nota que hagi obtingut de la part pràctica.

 

Per superar l’assignatura serà necessari arribar, i de conformitat amb les condicions anteriors, a un 5 sobre 10.

 

L’alumnat que arribi aquesta nota es podrà presentar a l’examen de recuperació sempre i quan compleixi els requisits establerts en el punt següent.

 

 

3. Examen Recuperació.

 

Les persones que no superin l’avaluació continuada tindran dret a recuperació en el dia marcat oficialment per l'Escola, sempre i quan aquest alumnat hagi estat prèviament avaluat en un conjunt d’activitats el pes de les quals equivalgui a un mínim de 2/3 parts de la qualificació total.

Aquest examen consistirà en una prova d’avaluació on s’avaluarà el conjunt dels continguts de l’assignatura.

Per aprovar aquest examen serà necessari obtenir un 5.

La superació de l’examen de recuperació implicarà obtenir un 5 a l’expedient de l’alumne.

S'ha de tenir en compte quei si l'alumne no ha estat avaluat d'aquest conjunt d’activitats el pes de les quals equivalgui a un mínim de 2/3 parts de la qualificació total serà avaluat amb una nota de \"No presentat\".

 

4. Revisió:

Al moment de realització de cada activitat avaluativa, el Professorat s'informarà a l'Alumnat dels mecanismes de revisió de les Qualificacions.

 
5. Avaluació única:
Els estudiants que optin per l'avaluació única faran una prova de síntesi final de tot el contingut de l'assignatura, tant teòric com pràctic. La data per a aquesta prova serà la mateixa programada a l'horari per a l'últim examen d'avaluació continuada. L'alumnat que es vulgui acollir a l'avaluació única ho haurà de sol·licitar dins del termini oficial establert per fer-ho. En cas que no ho fes, perdrà l'oportunitat d'avaluació única. S'aplica el mateix sistema de recuperació que per a l'avaluació continuada.
 
6. Avaluació de lalumnat en segona convocatòria o més:
L'alumnat que repeteixi l'assignatura haurà de realitzar les proves i els exàmens programats i lliurar les pràctiques de l'assignatura en les dates indicades a l'aula o bé aula Moodle, segons el cas.
 
7. Canvi de data d'una prova o examen:
L'alumnat que necessiti canviar una data d'avaluació ha de presentar la petició emplenant el document que es troba a l'espai Moodle de Tutorització EPSI. Un cop emplenat el document s'ha d'enviar al professorat de l'assignatura ia la coordinació del Grau.
 
8. Ús de la IA

En aquesta assignatura, es permet utilitzar tecnologies d'Intel·ligència Artificial (IA) com a part integrant del desenvolupament del treball. Lalumnat ha didentificar clarament quines parts han estat generades amb aquesta tecnologia, especificar les eines emprades i incloure una reflexió crítica sobre com aquestes han influït en el procés i el resultat final de lactivitat. La no transparència de l'ús de la IA podrà ser considerada com una irregularitat acadèmica i pot comportar una penalització a la nota de l'activitat, o l'aplicació de les conseqüències previstes a l'apartat següent \"Altres consideracions\".


9. Altres consideracions:
En cas que l'estudiant faci qualsevol irregularitat que pugui conduir a una variació significativa de la qualificació d'un acte d'avaluació, es qualificarà amb aquest acte d'avaluació 0, amb independència del procés disciplinari que es pugui instruir. En cas que es produeixin diverses irregularitats als actes davaluació duna mateixa assignatura, la qualificació final daquesta assignatura serà 0. Així mateix, si hi ha la sospita de plagi, inclòs el tecnològic, el professorat podrà verificar el contingut de la prova mitjançant la realització de proves orals, o un altre tipus de proves, per verificar l'originalitat i l'autoria del treball. Si concorren circumstàncies sobrevingudes que impedeixin el desenvolupament normal de lassignatura, el professorat podrà modificar tant la metodologia com lavaluació de lassignatura.
