Prerequisites
It is advisible tot have previosly completed "Gender and Etnicity"
Objectives

Learning outcomes
- Students must be capable of assessing the quality of their own work.
- Demonstrating a comprehension of the analysis of social phenomena presented in English, as well as observing their strengths and weaknesses.
- Effectively communicating the basic analysis of social phenomena in an elementary level of English.
- Students must be capable of managing their own time, planning their own study, managing the relationship with their tutor or adviser, as well as setting and meeting deadlines for a work project.

1) Participation in Seminars based on the critical reading of a text proposed by the teacher (10%)
2) Essay I: based on the readings worked on during seminars I, II, III, IV and V students will prepare a critical essay. (25%)
3) Essay II: based on the model put into practice during seminars VI, VII. VIII, IX and X, students will evaluate the gender impact of a public policy or social intervention project. (25%)
4) Work in group I, based on the specific instructions, (20%)
5) Work in group II, based on the specific instrctions, (2o%)
All assessment tests will be returned and the possibility of retrieval will be given when the minimum required to pass the subject is not obtained.
Use of AI:The commission of any irregularity in an assessment activity (academic fraud, plagiarism, or improper use of AI, except where such use is expressly authorized in the course guide) that may lead to a significant alteration of the grade will result in that assessment being graded as 0. If the course guide stipulates that obtaining a minimum grade in this assessment is an essential requirement to pass the course, or if multiple irregularities occur in the assessment activities of the same course, the final grade for the course will be 0. Additionally, disciplinary proceedings may be initiated against any student who commits any of these irregularities. The teaching staff reserves the right to conduct oral interviews or an alternative assessment in order to verify the effective acquisition of knowledge and competencies, and therefore the validity of the assessment activities carried out by the student.
In accordance with the Academic Regulations of the UAB, the possibility of a single assessment is предусмотрена, which must be notified within the deadlines established by the Faculty. Specifically, the single assessment will consist of a comprehensive written exam covering all course content, which accounts for 50% of the grade, as well as the submission of two individual essays, each worth 25%.
