Prerequisites
Student needs to be studying or have completed the credits of the speciality in Psychosocial and Community Intervention.
Objectives and Contextualisation
- To theoretically ground the approaches used for the analysis of a psychosocial intervention.
- To define the potential consequences of a psychosocial intervention from different perspectives.
- To develop ethically responsible behaviour with people, groups, and organizations involved in a psychosocial intervention.
- To rigorously analyse empirical material obtained through a psychosocial intervention process.
- To organize the results of a psychosocial intervention into a coherent and accurate report.
- To actively and purposefully participate in psychosocial intervention teams.
Learning Outcomes

Content
The internships of the Official Master's Degree in Psychosocial Research and Intervention (MURIP) offer students the opportunity to connect with stakeholders and processes dedicated to fostering social and community well-being, promoting social inclusion, and energizing processes of social change. Through its content, the master's degree provides knowledge and practical experiences that not only address immediate problems but also foster participatory, inclusive, and supportive relationships aimed at generating a transformative and sustainable long-term impact.
The internships must reflect an ethical, critical, analytical, and reflective approach to the activities carried out at the internship centre. These internships take place between the end of January and the end of June, with a dedication of between 200 and 225 hours, under the supervision of two tutors: an internal tutor (from the internship centre) and an external tutor (from the UAB), who will evaluate the student's performance at the end of the internship period.
The project and the activities to be carried out at the internship centre will be defined in collaboration with the internal tutor and communicated to the external tutor. The allocation of hours will be adjusted to the specific needs of the project in coordination with the centre's tutor. Upon completion, the student will prepare an internship report with a detailed analysis of the experience and submit an executive summary to the centre.
The students will be a part of a project conceived by the centre, engaging in professional endeavours aligned with the goals of the intervention and applying the skills acquired in the master's degree.

The duration of the internships will range from 200 to 225 hours, depending on the partnership agreement.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Continuous assessment activities consist of:
- An individual written report that will include an analysis of the internship carried out, as well as the student's field diary.
- The centre tutor report comprises an assessment template comprising both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the student's performance during the internship.
- The UAB tutor report includes an assessment of the academic learning of the student during the internship.
Not assessable: The student will be considered not assessable when the three continuous assessment activities are not provided.
Single evaluation procedures are not contemplated as this is an external internship.
Feedback: Written feedback will be provided for all three assessment activities.
The return will be made the week after the end of the internship, not later than week 21
Use of Artificial Intelligence
In this subject that you will use Artificial Intelligence(AI) tools as part of your learning process and in the preparation of assignments. We live in a world in constant transformation, and AI is a technology that is already redefining many areas of our society, including the professional and academic. It is essential that, as future professionals, you learn to interact with these technologies effectively and ethically. Your university education is an ideal time to familiarize yourself with AI, explore its capabilities and understand its limitations. The goal is not for AI to replace your critical thinking or your reflection, but for it to become a tool that enhances your analytical capacity and your productivity. However, it is crucial that the use of AI is done with transparency and responsibility. In addition, you should include a critical reflection on how AI has influenced your process and the outcome of the activity. Yourpersonal contribution in the analysis and reflection should always be significant. The use of AI in this subject is an opportunity to prepare you for a future where digital competence, including the use of AI, will be a key skill. Take advantage of this space to experiment, learn and integrate these technologies responsibly into your training.
